Impression copings are dental impression components that may be used for either pick-up type (open tray) or transfer type (closed tray) impression molding techniques.
The components are used with an impression material to fabricate a model at a site in a jawbone where an implant has been osseointegrated.
The impression components include an impression coping having an outer surface with its bottom end configured to reside below the gingiva surrounding the implant. A passage exists through the impression coping which accepts a first component for attaching the impression coping to the implant for use in a pick-up type impression application. The passage also accepts a second component for attaching the impression coping to the implant for use in a transfer type impression application.
DIO's coping system allows an accurate registration of the fixture head, abutment, healing abutment or other prefabricated components to which the implant may be connected. The coping system also permits the direct substitution of each impression coping within an index or impression, so as to transfer the component to a model.
Narrow dental implant analog for DIO's solid dental implant abutment prosthetics. Solid abutment analogs are used in dental laboratories in forming an abutment replica onto which the prosthetic can be fabricated. Once in place, the abutment analogs protrude from within the stone model mock-up of the patient's jaw. Learn More

Narrow impression caps for use with DIO implant fixtures. The dental implant impression cap is used with the solid abutment for making impression. Conveniently colour coded for easey identification of diameter. Learn More
Plastic copings are used instead of wax resin when waxing-up the crown. Wax resin is prone to shrinkage deviation. Using DIO's plastic coping avoids such problems. Use the plastic coping markings to achieve the required height. Learn More
