RBM stands for 'Resorbable Blast Media' - a type of surface treatment where the dental implant is blasted with particles of Hydroxyapetite (beta-Tricalcium Phosphate, Alpha Tcp, TTcp and Calcium Phosphate (CPP). Surface roughness of between Ra 1.2 - 1.5 is consistently achieved through an automated process.
The process leaves a roughness without leaving debris or a acid residue in the surface, allowing for improved retention characteristics when surrounded with bone, proven through extensive clinical cases.
DIO is able to achieve repeatable successful results and offer high quality products at a lower cost than other UK companies through the application of technology.
